SubscriberHi everyone
Is it possible to get two different Gap values for the contact side and target side in a simulation. I am doing a structural simulation and getting a gap value of -1.006 mm for the contact side and 0.00138 mm for the target side.Â
Kind regards
Subhav GoelÂ

Ansys EmployeeHi Subhav,
Can you share the screenshot of the contact settings you are using? Are you using a contact tool to calculate the gap results?
Thanks,
Akshay Maniyar

Ansys EmployeeHi Subhav,
Sorry for the delay. It looks like you have used interface treatment as 'Adjust to touch' which is causing the issue. Try to use 'Add offset, no ramping' or 'Add offset, ramped effect' and then check the results.
Please check the below Ansys help for more details.
