difference between Explore and Refine mode

  Hi, I tried the tutorial and I find differences in the constraints between explore and refine mode. Is this due to a bad setting or is it due to the stress concentrations?

  The sliding contact is set as bonded (default) in Explore mode as Explore mode is currently not capable to simulate Sliding contact.
  
  Is that the difference you see or is there anything else? Can you please elaborate?

  Hello Subashni Sliding contacts are not take into accout in Explore mode ? Here are some results : - Explore mode Factor of safety : 2.1 - Refine mode : 0.7

  Hello GUICAD Yes, sliding contact is beyond the capabilities of Explore mode. Please check the Capabilities sheet for 2021 R2

  sorry to come back on this subject but when I add a sliding condition on the face I have a different behavior than without (other side is bonded by default) I have the impression that the explore mode takes into account the sliding contact...
