SubscriberHello Ansys community
I would like to build a fiber composite model with the help of ACP. The layers shall be parallel to the bottom side and cut off at the edge of the part . Thus I imported a shell-layer of the bottom side of the model. The Image underneath represents the disired layer- and geometry-buildup.

SubscriberFound the solution. Use a shell geometry at Cut-Off geometry Selection Rule (with a Solid geometry it didn t worked). During the creation of plies, insert the Cut-Off Solution at Rules.
