SubscriberForm New Part does not create new bodies, so something else created them, it is good that you suppressed them.nContact can only be defined between Parts and cannot be defined between Bodies in the same Part, so after Form New Part, there are fewer parts, so fewer contacts.nThe default Thermal behavior for Contact is perfect conductivity, which is the same as having no interface at all, which is what happens in a Multibody part when the materials are the same. So no, you don't need those contacts unless you wanted to add a Thermal Resistance at the interface, in which case you can't use a Multibody part, because you will define that interface thermal resistance in the Contact definition.nAugust 19, 2020 at 1:07 pmJonahbt40
