SubscriberDear fellows,
I am analyzing a steel hollow section in Ansys apdl. The problem that I face is that when I run the analysis there appears an error that degree of freedom exceeds the limit and there is a rigid body motion because the model is not constrained properly.
But the model is properly restrained since I have restrained it and glued/added volumes parts where necessary. The error does not appear when I reduce the elastic modulus from 210000 to 2100.
Any suggestion will be of great help.

SubscriberPlease show more details about the model. Geometry, boundary conditions, loads, contacts, etc.
