SubscriberHello everyone,
I run a transient simulation in Fluent with:
- Time step size: 1e-5 s
- Number of time steps: 50000
Results are saved every 100 steps.
After 0.1 s I turn on "Data sampling for Time statistics" option with" sampling interval" of 5. Then at 0.2 s I set the "sampling Interval" to 10. The calculation was interrupted at 0.3 s, I have loaded .dat file saved before and continued the simulations. However when I see the "Time Sampled", the value is 0.02356 as shown in Figure below ( I thouth it shoud be larger than 0.2 s).

Ansys EmployeeHello,
The reason might be that the time step size is not be constant.

SubscriberHello, The time sampled is only for the current run of the simulation. So, this run has only solved 0.02356s.
