Cycle to cycle simulation (multi-cycle) in ANSYS-forte

      Hi,

Does Forte support cycle to cycle simulation. If so, could you please provides how could I set it up.

      Many thanks

If you mean multicycles in a single run, then you just need to set the Final Simulation Crank Angle to a value that will cover the number of cycles.

But I have spray injection for each cycle. Considering 15 cycles engine run. It means I need to specify 15 times injection timing. Do you think this is the unique method I have to follow ??

In a multicycle simulation, the global crank angle value for simulation limits will increase monotonically starting from the initial crank angle until it reaches the final crank angle. However, crank-angle-based timing parameters, such as spark timing, injection timing, and output controls, have the options of "cyclic" or "global". With the "cyclic" option, the timing will be repeated cyclically.
