SubscriberHi!
I am working on modeling G-L flow using Mixture multiphase model.
(1) In order to fix the velocity profile at the inlet for the gas phase (and probably also for the lq), can/should I use UDF?(Here I mean: to have similar profile in the inlet as in the outlet). At this moment I do not want to have periodic boundary conditions.
(2) Should I change the mixture multiphase model to Eulerian (since in case Eulerian MM the continuity and NS are solved separately for both phases)?Â
Thank you in advance your hint(s)! :)Â

Ansys EmployeeHi,
1) Yes you can used UDF to specify velocity profile at the inlet
2) Choose of mixture and eulerian model has to be done based on some guidelines, for more details please refer to theory guide: 14.2.2. Model Comparisons (ansys.com)
If you are not able to access the link, please refer to this forum discussion:Â Using Help with links (ansys.com)
Thank you
