SubscriberHi everybody
I am simulating an airflow into pipes. The initial value of residual (Momentum and continuity) starts from 0.01 and stabilize at 0.0001. Curves of mass flow at the inlets are stabilized, which means computation has converged.
I am worried because :
Residual has only moved from 0.01 until 0.0001 ( reduced only by 2 decades)
What do you think about the reasons? Am I right to be worried?
Thank you very much for your help
NB: I am using fluent

AdministratorHello:
Please check your mass and energy balances (Hint: Fluxes under Reports). If these are acceptable and your monitors are flat, you should be fine. If they are not acceptable, then you have a problem.

SubscriberThank you
The sum of inflow and outflow is 0.0001 kg/s, the total flow at the inlet is 0.145 kg/s and the sum of outflows is about 0.1449 kg/s
This result is acceptable
Best regards
