SubscriberHi all, nI am trying to model a hypervelocity impact using Autodyn. I have a simple plate target and a sphere projectile. I am trying to model both using SPH, and have successfully modelled the sphere using SPH nodes, but when I try to model the plate as well I get an error message saying Cannot create multiple SPH parts.nThis old pdf http:/oss.jishulink.com/caenet/forums/upload/2008/01/27/7928171817357.pdfby Century Dynamics seems to be able to do it (page 67). Does anyone know what I'm dong wrong? nThanksnCn -

Ansys EmployeeYou don't need to have multiple SPH parts. You only need to create a single SPH part with multiple objects using Create/Modify Predef Objects. nOne object is the plate and the other one is the sphere. -
