      Hi,

I would like to capture the X-Y-Z directional deformations along the same angular displacement on a wheel. I have achieved this with creating quadrants in my CAD geometry and assembling them together, however I wonder if there is a way to do this easily within ANSYS. Below is my simulation geometry:

nI don't know about lines, but you can easily create a plane at any angle by adding a coordinate system, rotated to the desired angle. Then create Construction Geometry and select that coordinate system to make a plane. Now you can plot directional deformation on that plane in that coordinate system for the cross-section of your mesh that is cut by that plane.n

Hi Peter,nThanks for your response. That sounds like a good solution, and I'll give it a shot!n
