Creating a supporting corner for walls

      Hey everyone

I am reaching you to consult a problem I have in creating a specific geometry I have in mind in design modeler in ANSYS. In the geometry, I have two flaps (shown in attached picture 1) which are perpendicular to the surface below it. At the point of attachment of these flaps to the main body I need to add a joint support (similar to what I have shown in picture 2) for all the length that these flaps are joint to the main body, but unfortunately so far I could not do so. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me with that.

(in fact after creating the geometry, I need to use it in static structural to analyse the structure in terms of stress later). Alos I already tried sweep function but as the walls are curved, it does not creat the geometry I need.

In case my question was not clear, let me know and I will illustrate my point in more details

      Thanks in advance

thanks rukumbhar, but I have already tried options of chamfer, fixed-radius blend and varibale-radious blend. Some of these options do not even work (they become red) and even the side which these functions work and even those who work cannot creat a curved coner homogenously extending all along the edge where two walls are connecting. nI have added the photosnn

Instead of one edge try selecting complete loop or include the small edge.n

I have already tried it. If I do so, it will creat nothing!n

Here's an idea. You have created small fillet at corner shown in the second image of your question. Select the parallel face of it and use 'Extrude' operation along the corner line.n

I have tried it also before, the problem is that the exrude operation uses only on direction vector to propagat the face, which in my case as my line is curved cannot work. The other operation sweep also does not work.n
