SubscriberHello.
I'm trying to create a geometry of a pyramid where a base is a pentagon. I can create a pyramid in DesignModeler, but only with 4 sides. Is there a way of designing a pyramid with a different number of sides?
Thank you.

Hi Tilen,
There are multiple ways to build the pyramid you need. Here is one approach
You can create a couple of sketches with pentagons. Create one large pentagon and another small one away from the first one. Then use Skin tool to create a solid. Then use Face delete to delete the small face and this will result in the pointed corner at the top
Result of skin from two polygon sketches

Delete the top highlighted face to get the corner

SubscriberDear Nagappan.
Thank you for the reply.
Is there a way of creating a pentagon pyramid in Ansys Discovery? I have a problem of transfering the created geometry from the Design Modeler into the Discovery to extra modify it.
Regards.
