SubscriberDear community,
I would like to know how I can define two material curves for an anisotropic material model? I have two stress-strain curves for tension and torsion and want to implement them to define the behavior under biaxial static loading, but i am confused on how to assign them to one material model. My first try was to use TB,EXPE but in the manual it says that an additional model is needed and I am unsure on how to combine them. I am relatively new to APDL and thankful for any advice!Â
Thanks.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You should be able to set TBOPT to UNITENSION (or UNIAXIAL if you have combines uniaxial tension and compression data) and to SHEAR or SSHEAR and add the two sets of experimental data. Have you tried this already?
TB (ansys.com)4.2. Experimental Data (ansys.com)

SubscriberThanks for the reply! Yes, I have tried that, but couldn't achieve a curve for the material model. Could you please show me an example how to implement that command correctly?

SubscriberI should specify that I am able to define the data tables, but in the end I am not able to create a model by that. What is the next step to implement that data table as a material model?
