SubscriberI found two fundamental bugs in the 2024 R2 Ansys electronic:Â- While using RMxprt, if you want to assign a material to the stator and rotor of any machine, the software will crash.
- While using 3D Maxwell, if you plot any field, be it H or B, and then press Control+Z to undo it, it will crash again.Â
Attached are the logs from the software.ÂI hope you can send these logs to the right person and see if they have found any clue to solve this problem. -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
1. This issue will be fixed in the next version (25r1). In order to proceed with your simulations please use a previous version.2. The behavior cannot be reproduced, could you please provide more information?

SubscriberHi Timos,
I hope someone had already sent you the logs I sent them in ANSYS as this place does not allow for uploads. To tell you what happened, I simply drew a cube, assigned NdfeB 30 as the material. Then I changed the magnetization direction using the material properties tab. I ran the simulation and ploted H using right click on the magnetic cube. Once the H field was showing on the screen, I decided to press Ctrl+Z to undo the field shown and it crashed. I tried any 3D field plot and after undoing the drawn field using Ctrl+Z, the software crashes.
