SubscriberIn the crack aspect ratio a/c, it seems that the value of a can be obtained with a crack extension probe, but the value of c cannot be obtained?
I tried calculating by directly taking a node, but the distance is not calculated normally because a new node number is not created after remeshing.

Ansys EmployeeHello Joonseong,
Assuming that your problem involves an elliptically shaped crack, try using the crack length percentage in the crack extension probe in Mechanical.
The crack length will be the crack length probe with crack length percentage 0% or 100% (depends on orientation of crack front). The crack depth you will also get through crack length percentage 50%.

SubscriberThanks for the advice. Is it correct to find the crack depth a when set to 50%, and the crack length c when set to 0 or 100%?

SubscriberI think it's because you set 'Min Increment of Crack Extension' and 'Max Increment of Crack Extension' to the same value, is that correct?
