SubscriberHi, i need to make an inclined crack on a rectangular plate in APDL software. I am completely new to this software, please assist me in this regard. I am able to make rectangular plate but unable to generate a crack on it. Hence, please guide me in my work.Â

SubscriberTools are available in the Workbench meshing software that will make it easier to create a crack. I'm not sure if making an inclined crack is possible, but you can investigate.
Also, you can open SpaceClaim and construct the desired inclined crack shape in geometry, and then mesh that in Workbench.
