SubscriberHello everybody! I decided to deal with the CPT215 element and, following the example, built a model of a reinforced concrete tee. The solution is interrupted at the very beginning, I try to figure it out, but I did not find a problem, I think the problem is in inserting a command that implements the DPC model. Model author: DrDalyOnCommand insert:n/PREP7net,matid,CPT215 !define matid to CPT215nKEYOPT,matid,18,2nMP,EX,matid,20000 ! Define Elasticity Modulus (enter a value for E)nMP,NUXY,matid,0.2 ! Define Poisson's rationTB,MPLA,matid,,,DPC !Define Drucker-PragernTBDATA,1,31.6,36.34,3,1,40000,-35 !****,fbc,fut,Rt,D,sigVcnTBDATA,7,2,0,2e-5,3000,2000 !R,gamt0,gamc0,betat,betacnTB,MPLA,matid,,,NLOCALnTBDATA,1,1600,2.5 !nonlocal interaction range c, over nonlocal parameter mn! Replace SOLID185 with CPT215nallselnesel,s,ename,,SOLID185nemodif,all,type,matidnallseln! Print out the result:netlist,alln/SOLUnOUTRES,ALL,ALLn

Ansys EmployeeHi - I have not used this material model as it is very difficult for engineers to obtain material data for this material model (typically one will only have fc, ft, E, and v). (Not sure it is even 100% possible to use reinforcement option with DCP and microplane/CPT215 elements in the latest release - I think if they run the same model on the new release 2021 R1 it should not work - normally reinf264 and the reinforcements work with solid18X elements)It should be possible to use the Mentrey-Willam model and use the workflow I recommended:nHi - I have not used this material model as it is very difficult for engineers to obtain material data for this material model (typically one will only have fc, ft, E, and v).
