 The nCode Designlife or Ansys mechanical does not directly simulate the effects of corrosion while performing a fatigue analysis. If you can find another way of modelling the thinning of your part so that you have final dimensions of the part or changes in material properties due to corrosion, you can potentially encorporate them in Fatigue. refer to this forum discussion: Details and acids (ansys.com) .Â
