Dear Sir or Madam,
I am using ANSYS Spaceclaim in the latest version 2022 R2 and so far I only knew the version 2012. When sketching, I have the problem that when I press the button "Top view", the view always rotates with the X-axis upwards. But according to the standard, the X-axis is actually always the longitudinal axis and not the vertical axis. This is increasingly annoying me, because this problem did not occur with SC 2021.
What can be done to remedy this so that SC again views X as the longitudinal axis as usual?Best regards,
Â

Hi Christof Schramm
Try clearing your user settings from File > SpaceClaim Options > Advanced > Reset All User Settings.
Please check if your Top view direction is set to Y axis. You can check this from File>SpaceClaim options>Advanced>Behavior.
If not, please set it to Y axis then open new design and try.Â
If the problem persists, please share a short video with exact steps to reproduce this issue.Â
Regards.Â
