I am running static nonlinear material and contact analysis. I see the convergence is dragging after first two time steps... nAny tips for converging issue?

Click on the Solution Information folder and in the Details window, type 3 or 5 into the Newton Raphson Residual Plots. Then start the solver for 3-5 more iterations. Look at the location of the maximum N-R Force Residual. Check to see that it is in the same location on all 3 or 5 plots. Insert a Mesh Control to make smaller or better shaped elements at that location.nYou can get more and better tips if you show the mesh and more details on the loads and materials.n
