SubscriberIs it possible to control where i want to place the weak spring?
Also, does anyone know what is the default stiffness of the weak spring? I know you can manually enter a value but does anyone know what is the default value when we don't enter a number?
Thanks!

Since Weak Springs is a solver control option, solver assigns the same to the respective locations making the solution numerically stable. So it is not possible for user to control the location of weak springs.
Weak springs have low non zero stiffness which won't affect the model stiffness , Using 'Program Controlled' option, solver assigns the stiffness according to the model, 'Factor' option enables user to set the stiffness as multiples of program controlled option, 'Manual' option enables user to set custom values. You may find the number of weak springs generated in the solution information.
You can refer to the Weak Springs section of the following for more details.
