Ansys EmployeeThe easiest way to control the duration of an animation when using the timestep animator is to specify the number of frames (under Advanced Frame Selection Controls) so that given the frame rate (Options > Advanced > Frame Rate) you will achieve the desired duration. For example, if the frame rate is 24 frames per second and there are 240 frames, the animation will be 10 seconds long.
