SubscriberHi,
I am conducting a CFD RANS simulation where SST k-w turbulence model is employed. Is there any way to obtain contours of turbulent shear stresses? (even if it required the use of custom variables). These are not wall shear stresses, as I am keen on knowing the values on a set of specific plane surfaces.
Thanks in advance
PS: Be it on Fluent or in CFD-Post.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You can create a CFF with Strain Rate Magnitude [under Derivatives] and Turbulent Viscosity [under Turbulence].
