SubscriberHi all. I researched the topic of wear and tear. But I have many questions that are not clear. I studied the works of the authors, as well as the presentation and work of DYNALOOK and DYNAMORE:
Â
So, my task is a drill and an LNG die. The drill rotates and passes through a 4 mm thick die. I need to understand how much the drill is deformed after passing 20,000 mm of such a die.
Let's add the wear condition in order and look at my questions.
1. Turn on MPR=2 in the current contact.
2. Add the CONTACT_ADD_WEAR card. In this map we indicate three parameters P1, P2 and P3 (K, Hs, Hm). The parameters for the slave and master are indicated there. But I don’t understand what should I indicate there for drilling?
3. Add a DATABASE_EXTENT_INTFOR and DATABASE_BINARY_INTFOR map to record data.
4. Add the INTERFACE_SPRINGBACK_LSDYNA card. Do we indicate only the number of cycles in the NCYC column? That is, this number is how many times will my drill pass through my 4 mm thick die? So I can specify 5000 cycles (=20000 mm)?
5. Add the INITIAL_CONTACT_WEAR card. WHAT needs to be filled in columns NX, NY and Nz? This kata is needed to record each calculation with a new name for the dynian file. Do I need this when calculating drilling? How to use this card correctly in my case?
6. Prepost-Wear App is used to view the results. There are two methods for viewing the results, using the scale factor curve and maximum wear. Which one is right for me to view the drilling task? How to choose the right one and how to check how the drill behaves after 20,000 mm of drilling?
7. Do you need any additional data on the material? Do I need to add material curves to the CURVE map? If necessary, which ones?
Thank you.
