I have a simulation in mechanical with a set of frictional contacts. I would like to control one of the contacts via the Offset (in geometric modification).
Is it possible to vary the contact offset through different load steps/time in combination with ramped effects?
e.g. Offset Load step 1: 0 mm
Offset Load step 2: -0,5 mm
Offset Load step 3: +0,5 mm

This cannot be directly achieved through GUI but a set of APDL commands can be used.
You can use the rmodif command to change the 10th real constant of CONTA174 element, first define the time vs offset data in tabilar format and then use it in rmodif command.
