Hello everyone,I have model of wing (surfaces (skin, webs, ribs) and stringers and spars (lines with cross-section)). I have errors when i try to run solver in statistic structural. I suspect this relative with connection (not all connection were created by Ansys in Mesh ).nnSo, i have a question, can i perform connection in Design Modeler (connect all surface, and lines bodies) before run Mesh (i hope Ansys will create automatically connection after connection action in Design Modeler)?nPlease, see pictures for clarification.nnnThanks.n

We can use perhaps multi body parts - so select all parts in the tree right mouse button lick and select form a new part nnFor this to create a connected and compatible mesh between plates and line bodies/beams, then they all need to share common edges.nAll the bestnnErikn

Thanks for your comments. I used this function but did work(( Possible my model has some gaps between surfaces. Can I repair this effect in Ansys? Or check.n

I would recommend to redo the geometry so the face/surfaces have common edges and then the line bodies use these edges - it is not a good practice to let a software clean and fix geometry as you have very little control and knowledge of what it did exactly, thus it is possible that it will alter the geometry.nnAll the bestnnErikn
