SubscriberÂ
I work on the determination of the constraints on bolts M48 which serve to maintain two seals glued to each other, the external load applied work on a plane which comes to solicit my bolts in tracation and shear,
my question is how to know if my results are consistent or not

SubscriberPlease create many screen snapshots of the Supports, Loads, Contacts , Analysis Settings, the Engineering Data page for the Materials used in the Model and the Mesh. Then create many screen snapshots of the Results and Warning Messages. Make sure to zoom in on the area of high stress. Do a Mesh Refinement Study. Show a snapshot of that graph. Insert those snapshots into a long and detailed reply. Include a Hand Calculation that shows the result you expect to get from the model.

SubscriberI created a simplified model with the same loading and positioning conditions as my structure, I obtained results that do not allow me to see the constraints on my bolts. but on everything when I calculate the reaction on my bolt preload the results are not very coherent. I made several captures of my model. please i would like to have your help

SubscriberPlease show the Frictional Contacts between the two halves of the box, and between the top of the box and the bolt heads.
Please show the Total Displacement Results.
Please show the N-R Residual Force plot from the Solution Information folder.
Please show your hand calculation, what you expected to get.

SubscriberIt looks like it solved nicely. What was the result you got and what result were you expecting?
