Sir, I designed my model in Ansys ACP then I transfer the acp setup for static structural test from where I got results as well now one thing is remaining is to check the overall composite weight of my pressure vessel. Could you please tell me how to check the weight of composite material and overall weight of my component?

      Hi,

Please see if the following link helps: How to calculate Mass, Volume and Centroid of multiple parts in Mechanical? - Ansys Knowledge

Sir sorry but this I already saw this doesn't give weight of overall composite. Please tell me how to do calculations of weight in ansys after building it in ACP?

      Hi Chirag,

In solve.out file or in "solution information", search for "precise mass summary". Mass for each elemnt type is listed here. You can also search for "ELEMENT MATRIX FORMULATION TIMES". This should list the element tpes and names. Using the two, you can figure out the composite parts and compute the total weight.

I am attaching images of solution information. Could you please tell me what is the weight of my composite. Here total mass is given but it is not with units. Could you please tell me unit of mass here is it in gram or kilograms?

      Hi,

The unit system chosen during the solution can be seen at the start of the solver output. Please scroll up to the start and you may be able to see the unit system.
