Hi,
I am working on composite pressure vessel analysis. Can anyone help me in plotting stress ( Max. principle stress or Normal Stress X- direction) vs Axial distance (along length of the cylinder) graph. I have attached a pic for your understanding. Suggest all possible methods to plot it.ÂNote: I have constructed the composite material part (composite winding) in ACP and transferred it to static structural module as solid composite data.Thanks -

Hi,
You can use 'Chart' to plot the stress variation along the axial distance:

Hi,
You can also construct a path using the edge, and then the scope to the max. principal stress to that path.Refer link: Path
Thanks,

Hi,
Can anyone give me suggestion/ solution for the following issue, i am facing while running a static analysis of a composite pressure vessel.
I am getting significantly higher stresses at the bottom region of the bottom ply only. The neighboring elements have stress magnitude comparatively lower than this strip of elements. I have attached the images for your understanding.
Thanks
