Dear all,
I am runnig a lumerical file in our cluster. However, as it is a large file, I need to use checkpoint option. I have set the checkppoints in my file, but I don't properly understand the basics of this feature. So, I have two questions:
1. How can we choose the address in which the checkpoinnt file is saved? (i don't see any output file in the folder that my initial Lumerical file is).
2. How should I resume the remaining part on the cluster usning "resume" command?
Best regards,

Checkpoint has two options:
1: during the simulation, you can set every N minutes
2: at the end of the simulation.
Depending on your goal, you can choose one of them or even both. THe simulation will create continuition files that can be used by resume.
To resume the simulation WHEN you reduce the autoshutoff min, you can either clieck "resume" in GUI, or using script https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036896474-resume-Script-command
