      After onboarding, we provide some check tools to ensure that your environment for Ansys Access is set up correctly.

      / About Check Tools

      The following tools are currently available. The tool will be updated from time to time

      o    A tool to check the connectivity of a VM to an external domain

      §   You can use the following scripts to check the connection with the external domain required for the use of Ansys Access.  

      o    For Windows VM: check-domains/check_domains_win.ps1

      o    For Linux VM: check-domains/check_domains_lin.sh

      o    A tool to check the connection to the license server

      §   You can use the following script to verify connectivity to a specified license server from a VM deployed with Ansys Access.

      o    For Windows VM: check-license/check_license.ps1

      o    For Linux VM: check-license/check_license.sh

      o    Tools to check Azure settings

      §   You can use the following script to check the Azure settings required to use Ansys Access.

      o    Service quotas: check-quota/check_quota.ps1

      o    Enabling Rocky Linux: enable-rocky/enable-rocky.sh

       

      / How to use

      1.       Download zip file from GitHub page

      a.       Access the following GitHub repo

                        i.           https://github.com/masataka1206/aaa-diag-scripts

                       ii.           Download tools as a zip file


      2.       Extract  ZIP file

      3.       Check README.pdf file and Execute scripts
