changes in velocity between multiphase and non multiphase model

      Hello,

A previous colleague ran a multiphase MHD model with air and water in their domain. I ran the same model (same input data, same settings, etc) with very different results. I guess I am just interested in if turning multiphase off would make this much of a difference in the velocity outputs near the bottom of the domain (specifically in the x velocity component)?

      Thanks,

      Alex

Please can you replot on the same scale? The u-velocity at 0.007 is about the same on both plots. n

Hello,nI plotted in the same x-scale. They still appear quite different just from removing the air layer. Thanks,nAlexnn

We do sometimes see some differences as the multiphase turbulence models are slightly different to the single phase equivalents but it's not usually significant. How does the rest of the flow field compare? n
