Change Orientation of Applied Displacement

Hi, I would like to do something like this,

      1) Create a New Coordinate System A

      2) Apply displacement on the face whose components are defined by the Coordinate System A.

      3) Solve the model

Now check the results, if the condition is not satisfied, do following,

      4) Change the Orientation of the Coordinate System A

      5) Change the amount of displacement and defined by this changed orientation

      6) Solve the Model (i.e Continue from previous result (i.e Step 3 results )and not solve from beginning)

As seen from the figure, the new applied displacement is on the deflected structure due to initial displacement and so on.

If this is possible, How can it be achieved ?

nWhat is the condition that must be satisfied?nThere is something called a Follower Force that rotates with the structure. Is that relevant to your question?n/forum/discussion/20522/how-to-setup-a-follower-force-for-a-cantilever-beamn/forum/discussion/19889/how-to-keep-applied-force-always-perpedicular-to-surface-it-is-applied-to-in-ansys-during-analysisn

It is kind of follower load but the direction of that load should be provided by the user.nThe amount and direction of the load changes after every step.n
