SubscriberHello everyone,
The photo 1 show my model. It's a wired stent model in 3D. So i need to create a cross section for this wired model. But the problem is the coordinate system of the cross section is the original system (photo 2). And i need the coordinate system of the cross section is the cylinder coordinate system of the stent. If not the form of the stent is very weird and not right.
Can someone help me to solve this problem? Thank you all and have a good day

Forum ModeratorHello Hoang,Â
In SpaceClaim, you can change the coordinate system for the cross section by using the Move tool. There is an Anchor option with the Move tool that helps position it on the new coordinate system and align its axes with that system.
Please refer the article In SpaceClaim, how can I orient the Move Tool to my new coordinate system so that I can move objects according to the new coordinates? - Ansys Knowledge for more infromation.Â
Cylindrical coordinate system is not possible currently.Â
Regards,
Devendra
