SubscriberI am encountering a persistent issue when attempting to launch the Setup section in ANSYS Workbench for a Fluid Flow (CFX) analysis. The application crashes with the following errors:
socketError: RemoteEngineProtocol::receiveTransStat - Communications error: unexpected end of transmission from engine, expected status code.
EVP_DecryptInit: Could not load the shared library.
ÂI am using Workbench 2024R2 Student's version.ÂAny insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -

Ansys EmployeeHi Ozge,
Solution 1:
Rename .cfx folder in user profile.
Solution 2:
Rename libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll and libssl-1_1-x64.dll to libcrypto-1_1-x64.dll.backup
libssl-1_1-x64.dll.backup in C:/Windows/System32Â
