I want to simlulate frontal and rollover crash of a car with dymmy inside. When I giving initial velocity to car, the dummy is not moving with the car. I think I am not able to establish contact between the car seat and dummy (I am using Automatic Surface to Surface contact).

I have not used any contraints between car seat and dummy's butt and legs. Could that be the issue?

Please help as I do not know much. I am beginner myself.

Also, if there is a link to some tutorial to this problem, I could really use it.

Please look at these tutorials and learning aids regarding a dummy and vehicle interaction. In some examples you will be able to see how the contact between a dummy and a vehicle interior is defined. Consider looking at:

The first thing that comes to my mind is why are you not also specifying initial velocity to the dummy?   The car and dummy should start off moving together at the same velocity before impact or rollover.
