Downloaded and installed Ansys Student Version 2024 R1. Workbench works fine but when I try to open Discovery or SpaceClaim nothing happens. In workbench I can see a message that it tries to open Discovery but nothing.
In event viewer I got this error :

      Hello Mrunali,

      Thank you for your answer.

I tried all of the steps but nothing helps.

I still get DLLRegisterServer was not found while trying to register the ucrtbase.dll.

I recently downloaded the 2024R1 student version as well and can't seem to get the Discovery to work...I can't import geometries in workbench....Any solution is much appreciated

It seems like you're encountering an issue with the Ansys Student Version 2024 R1, specifically with the Discovery application. The error message indicates a faulting module related to ucrtbase.dll, which is a system file related to the Universal C Runtime (CRT) in Windows.
