Cannot define boundary conditions on fluent mesh with fault-tolerant meshing

      Hello,

I'm trying to simulate solidworks cad geometry inside a wind tunnel using a fault-tolerant meshing. There is no problem until the task "update boundaries" where it does not appear boundary region sorted by surface to introduce boundary conditions of each one.

I have started learning Ansys fluent so I'm following "An introduction to Ansys fluent 2023" by John E. Matsson.

Should I enable the task "Extract edge features"? It still doesn't work

In the image, tunnel boundaries doesn't appear.

Have you created the Tunnel in Fluent? Can you see the tunnel when you create it? Do the boundaries appear when you check the ‘List All Boundaries’ box? And what version of Fluent are you using?  The image looks like it is from an older version (probably 2023 based upon the book title 🤣)

Yes, tunnel is created. Even when complete the other tasks, the faces of the tunnel can be selected. When I mark “List All Boundaries” it does not appear anything more.

Im using Ansys Student 2025 R2, also tried Ansys 2024 and keeps the same.

      Using a simpler model.
