Hi Friends,

I am not able to apply current on the face (err-1)when maxwell is lauchned from workbench with geometry imported in wrokbench and linked to maxwell. Air region created with 0 patching in the z direction still the face is not getting selected (err-3) it works fine when maxwell is launched stand alone. Kindly provide your suggestions in this regards.

Hi @naim_ansys When are you getting the error message (cannot apply current excitation to the nonplanar entity) you attached?
If you are unable to select the face behind the region. Hold the "B" key on the keyboard and select.
You can also hide the region for selecting the face on your geometry.

Thanks a lot Navya for your response. This is a peculiar problem I am facing . I have tried every options as you mentioned but getting the same error. it is not allowing to apply current while opening maxwell from workbench. otherwise it is working fine.
