Can not find result ‘S_polarization’ in the result provider ‘grating_s_parameter

  Hi, in one of my simulation I am using "grating_s_parameters" function and many time it worked ok. But some time it gives me this error:
  Can not find result 'S_polarization' in the result provider 'grating_s_parameters'
  I have tried to figure out the origin of this problem but I still don't know, have you any suggestions?

  Hi,
  I believe S-polarization is relevant only when you expect the metamaterial to cause polarization rotation. For instance, if the input is s-polarized and the output light is s-polarized then only the "S" result should suffice. But if the input is s-polarized but the output is a combination of both s and p then the "S-polarization" result is relevant. For more information, please refer to: Metamaterial S parameter extraction.
  It is possible that for some reason this result is not being calculated because of an error.
  Go to the Analysis tab of the grating_s_params object, and click on Run Analysis. If there is any error, you should see them appear in red font in the same screen.

  Hi Amrita, thank you for the answer.
  I have tried to run the analysis and the error is:
  Error: prompt line 202: in expression A(i,...) the indices were out of range
  Error: Result S: variable not found.
  Error: Result S_polarization: variable not found
  Have you any suggestions? I don't know what indeces it is talking about.

  You are welcome! Now if you go to the Script Tab in the Analysis Tab, then you will see the code that is used for calculating "S" and "S-polarization" results.
  You can get line numbers that are causing the errors. Find these lines in the Script tab and try to identify what is causing the error.
