AdministratorShare topology tolerance can be changed from Share Topology options. There is an option - Coincidence tolerance. The default value is set to 0.1 mm. By changing this, one can change the shared topology results (especially for geometries with small clearances). This is very useful for fluids simulation, especially involving conjugate heat transfer. -

AdministratorPlease use default share option first. Then please check color of edges and identify the edges which are not shared. If possible, use unshare option and then recreate faces which are not shared. Then use share. If still the edges are not shared then you can zoom in and check the gap between edges and accordingly increase share topology tolerance. -

AdministratorSometimes share topology fails at few edges. Please change the display quality. Go to File --> SpaceClaim Options --> Popular --> Graphics Performance Options --> Rendering Quality. Then change it to 9 or 10. Then do share topology. Sometimes this gives success in share topology.Â

AdministratorIf your faces have high curvatures, suggest you to split the surfaces and then use share topology. -

Subscriber.Kremella, can you tell me what does 'preserve instances' option mean, under share topology options? And when should it be ticked and unticked?
