SubscriberHello! Me and my groupmates in college are trying to simulate crack growth propagation on a beam-column connection of A36 steel, but due to not knowing how SMART crack works we opted to used pre-meshed elliptical crack and obtain the K1 SIF to calculate the fatigue crack growth rate. But now we bumped into another hurdle as the neural network we are trying to train is having a hard time finding relationships between the beam-column parameters and fatigue crack growth rate. So, now we're trying to simulate fatigue crack growth propagation on a beam-column connection to get the a-n curve data. We would greatly appreciate any help and input for our thesis!
