Hello,Â
I am trying to calculate the self-inductance of an aluminum metal sheet in a wireless power transfer system, specifically between a transmitter and a receiver. However, applying any excitation to the sheet is not possible, which makes the calculation quite challenging. Can anyone please help me with this? Thank you!

That's exactly why I have posted this here. Do you have any suggestions for the problem?

You will need to create a close loop geometry for that object, cutting a hole in the middle of the geometry, section a cross section and assign it under a winding.

Thanks MirandaH.Â
Can you please explain the solution a little more? Do I have to assign it to TX or RX winding?
Best,

no, create a new winding just for the metal sheet
