SubscriberI’ve been working on a simple simulation in Ansys Maxwell 3D and automating a parameter sweep with PyAEDT. The setup works fine, and when I use
Maxwell3d.analyze_setup, the simulation runs successfully. The problem appears later, during post-processing. Specifically, when I perform calculations with the Field Calculator (e.g., computing the current), I get a Calc Error. However, if I run the Analyze step manually in the GUI by clicking Analyze and then use the Field Calculator, the calculation works correctly without any errors.
I’d appreciate any guidance on why this happens or how to resolve it. Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeHi,
The questions about PyAEDT are answered in Home - Community Forum, but please ensure you are using the right command.
Another option is to record the script and use it as a template since the issue is not happening using the GUI. To record the script, go to Tools/Record Script to File.
