CAD File Format to Import to ANSYS Workbench

I am trying my best to explain my problem. I made a CAD file (Assembly File) in Solidworks. I saved this file as "IGS" format. Then, I tried to import this file to Workbench (ANSYS 18). I opened this file in Design Modeler, and saved this file again as "agdb" format. I closed Workbench.

Then, I opened Workbench again. I imported the "Design Modeler" file that was saved as "agdb" format. It seems the "Geometry" is imported properly. But, when I open the "Model (Mechanical)" window, I am getting an error. It is saying "The shared license is not available to perform the Geometry Attach operation". May I know how to resolve this problem? Is it due to "File Format"? Any advice please? I truly appreciate your time in this matter. Sincerely,

      Awlad.

Sir,I did that many times, but no luck. I believe, this problem is related to License. Perhaps, I need to let ANSYS know to read Solidworks file. Any suggestions to resolve this problem? Thanks,nAwlad.n

nWhy did you use IGES? Do you have lines and curves or only solid bodies?nIf you have only solid bodies in SW, do a File, Save As Parasolid from SW.nOpen WB and drag and drop a Static Structural.nOpen DesignModeler from the Geometry cell.nIn DesignModeler, File, Import External Geometry File and select the Parasolid file.nDon't save anything in DM, just close the DM window.nOpen Mechanical, the geometry will attach.n
