Hello, I need to connect Inventor geometry to Ansys Discovery geometry on both sides. CAD configuration manager reports error "No valid Inventor installation detected" I have Inventor installed and I work normally in it. Can you help me please?

Can you confirm if you had done it with admin privileges'?

Also, will you be able to add the log files mentioned in the screenshot?

Yes, I use a student license for both programs. Is that the problem?

It is not, but since you are using Student version, I would recommend posting your questions on Ansys Learning Forum which is a dedicated platform for students.

Here the issue seems to be with the version of inventor. Make sure it is correct versions V6 - 2022, V11 to 2022.

Hello, 

I'm attempting to update the inventor version from 2021 to 2023. We have already the workbench connector working with Ansys 2022R1 and Inventor 2021. 

I have created a test machine with Inventor 2023 and later installed Ansys 2022R1. The workbench connector also worked seemlessly. 

However, on the user machines where we have Inventor 2021, and ansys already installed and connected. I could not manage to make the connector work with 2023. Even after uninstalling all the 2021 Installations and reinstalling ansys. I get the same error : Not valid inventor installation detected. 

Any recommendation on how to solve this issue?
