Broadband source (Lumerical INTERCONNECT)

Hi, I'm having a problem selecting the broadband source. When I select a CW laser in INTERCONNECT, it asks for operating frequency.

Hi Love Thank you for the post. Laser sources are usually precise on lasing freuqency so for single wavelength. That said you can add a linewidth to it to make it a bit broadband. How broad do you want the band to be?

The visible light range is 380 to 700nm, and I set the CW laser to work at 1551.7nm. I'm wondering what should I put for the linewidth to let it become a broadband source?

I wonder if there has been an update to this. I'm trying to simulate a circuit in which it has multiple inputs and each are relatively broadband sources (~80 nm bandwidth from a SLED). Is this at all currently possible?

      Thanks
