Hi all,

I encounter problems that breakpoints are often not working in Scripting Discovery (2023R1, 2024R1).
The debugger does not stop and therefore a stepwise debugging is not possible.
Is this a known problem?

I tried this out and the script paused at the breakpoint while running it in the debug mode. 
Can you share more details so that I can try this further at my end?

Hi Atharv,
thanks for testing. That's the problem, its not working in 2024R1 for me. The Debugger does not stop. Please, see the screen record gif below.
2023R1 seems to be fine for this code.

The problem is already reported via our local channel partner to ANSYS.

Hi Atharv, the debugger has been working as it should for the last few days without any changes. No problem with breakpoint stops. Nevertheless we installed SP2 now and will monitor the problem if it appears again.
