SubscriberOnce the simulation completes, i see that the braces that are in close proximity to the impact zone are detaching and penetrating the leg and wobbling around? The penetration doesnt produce any local strains in the leg either. Is this normal? If not, What am i doing wrong? How do i resolve this?

Found the problem.
The geometry was faulty with significant gaps between the brace and the leg members. This was preventing the "bonded" contact from keeping the two members glued / welded together as it should have.
Increased the “maximum offset” of all the members with such problematic contact regions to a value greater than the gap and it works perfectly.
All members display the welded/bonded behaviour now, as they should.
Hello,
Thank you for letting us know that you found a solution. I will close this thread.
Have a great day!
Reno.
